Venues in Surrey - Wedding photography at Addington Palace by Robert Hooper
Located just outside of Croydon, Addington Palace is a luxurious wedding venue steeped in history and not too far from London or the M25.
From the moment you step inside, the eye is drawn to the lavish surroundings and ornate furnishings around you. As a photographer, the various rooms inside give us many locations in which we can take beautiful wedding photographs - even if the weather outside is poor.
With some imagination and photographic artistry, even a simple corridor becomes a fitting location for some stunning bridal portraiture.
Getting ready
A luxurious changing room is available for the bride, well lit by large windows overlooking the front of the palace, and allowing us to take beautiful naturally lit photos as the bride and bridesmaids prepare for the wedding downstairs.
A balcony overlooks the Great Hall where the wedding breakfast is held, and offers a wonderful view of the both the hall and the lavish cherub adorned chandelier hanging above.

Stairway to heaven
Locations abound throughout the palace, where we can take beautiful and romantic wedding photos of our newlywed couples.
Atmosphere is a-plenty, with anything from antique paintings to elegant stairways to add to the historic charm of the venue.

Overall, Addington Palace is a beautiful wedding venue with some great features for top wedding photography - especially for couples who appreciate a more traditional or ornate surrounding for their wedding ceremony or reception. Larger weddings can be handled in the Royal Marquee outside, and the gardens overlook the golf course next door.
