Located at Ditcham near Petersfield in Hampshire, The tithe Barn is a beautiful wedding venue worthy of a grand wedding reception.

The building itself is actually a grade 2 listed building dating back to Saxon and is set in some wonderful Hampshire countryside, with it's own meadow next door. Plenty of parking space means guests don't have to worry about parking so this is one less thing to worry about.

Inside, the view is dominated by six magificent stone arches climbing high into the roof structure, with ample room below for a large wedding ceremony or wedding reception of up to around 250 guests. For smaller weddings, the wedding breakfast is setup at one end of the barn leaving room for mingling and dancing at the other end.

With all that space at hand, you might be forgiven for thinking that heat might be an issue - but discreet underfloor heating sorts that out, and whilst on the subject of modern fittings, the lighting is also well thought out, discreet, and works well to add to the atmosphere of the venue rather than detract.

From a wedding photographer's point of view, the tithe Barn is a lovely open area to photograph - both inside and out. With a rustic charm coupled to a sensible amount of light within (and tables spotlit from above) a good photographer should be able to capture great wedding photos for you.

In addition to the huge arches, the Tithe Barn also boasts a balcony area at one end of the hall - giving your wedding photographer another great vantage point from which to take some great photos for you...

...and if the weather is good, your guests will love the grounds immediately outside where they can be served champagne as the sun goes down over the meadow.

The Tithe Barn is a charming wedding venue for couples from the Hampshire or Sussex areas, set among some lovely countryside and sporting a good chunck of atmosphere and history. The venue is beautiful to look at, and staff are warm and friendly to both vendors and guests alike. We recommend it!
